The war in Ukraine was justified by Putin through an alternative reality of the facts. The distortion of reality happens through small and subtle reinterpretations of facts, which, by not being too far-fetched, are believable and accepted as truth.
This piece displays in video objective facts of the war and the way they were manipulated by the Russians.
With a screen divided in half, the left side shows a real event. On the right side, the same event after being manipulated by the Kremlin.
The screen is inside a U.S. Navy helmet used in the Vietnam War. Unlike the Asian conflict, in the war against Russia the U.S. watches these two parallel realities unfold.
