The great fallacy of George Orwell's book "1984" was assuming that a central entity would see and control all aspects of our lives against our will.
In reality, today nearly every detail of our lives is seen and controlled by government and private entities. Voluntarily, we are the ones who continuously provide them with this data in exchange for access to tempting toys like social media or smartphones.
This piece simulates a surveillance room where an employee is spying on the home lives of actors Kelly Bailey, Lourenço Ortigão, and their months-old baby.
The 7 video feeds are obtained through access to their mobile phone cameras, baby cam, webcam, TV cam, car cam, etc.
How many of us are blindly living this exact reality right now, without even realizing it...?
