Self dismantles the toxic aesthetics of fast-fashion consumerism with the piece “I Dress, Therefore I Exist.”

In this installation, a trash bin overflows with perfectly good clothes, discarded not due to wear, but simply for being “out of season.” Scattered among them, vintage televisions broadcast satirical messages that echo the seductive calls of the fast-fashion industry.

The Warm-up Art Showcases are the public’s first chance to experience SELF’s work live, ahead of the upcoming Tour 25. Each location is a handpicked cultural landmark, chosen to provoke reflection, challenge norms, and expose the silent addictions of contemporary society.
