The NGDO Corações Com Coroa, through its president Catarina Furtado, joined SELF on the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women with the performative intervention: “Invisible Sentence.”

Too many women remain imprisoned in their own homes, shared with those who harm them, trapped in the knots of a system that is slow to help those it should protect.
